LDI Trading is a foreign trade service provider that aims to provide you with the best market research, procurement, supply chain and investment management services in Turkey and neighbouring countries at the connection of Europe, Asia and Africa with its strategic position in the Meditterenean.
They are specialized in finding products, services, suppliers and manufacturers, provide end-to-end supply chain management, setting up commercial calendars and trade plans, carrying out sectoral and company researches for their clients and investment partners, as well as providing Private Label services.
LDI Trading focuses on ceramics, wood and plastic floor coverings, home decoration, furnitures and textiles, fresh and frozen vegan products and seafood, as well as various raw materials and equipment sourcing.
After we were approached by the LDI team, our goal became clear: to create a classical branding that can bridge different cultures, continents and represent togetherness, where local and global complement each other. We aimed for a design language that can speak to clients and customers of LDI Trading in an elaborate, articulate and straightforward way, regardless of their physical location or background.
The LDI Trading logo design follows a basic principle of combining geometrically balanced shapes with inner dynamism. This subtle form language keeps repeated over the entire branding.
The symbol of the logo contains several representatives of the business profile of the company, namely a ship that refers to trading and being a merchant of various goods; a rotating fan that stands as a reference to the four winds; the horizontal and vertical segments of our globe that symbolizes the company’s worldwide approach.
The overarching theme of the inner dynamism is carried over in form of characteristic arches. The sailing arches and their radiuses are reappearing in the wordmark.
The stationery, as well as the entire collection of corporate giveaways are following a minimalistic and no-nonsense lead that also characterizes LDI Trading’s communication and business dealings. In the world of cross-cultural trading, simplicity and clear communication is the most important thing.
When building out the corporate website of LDI Trading, we have opted for a mobile-first approach of UI/UX design. We also wanted to achieve a landing page that describes the company precisely, without any unnecessary frills and as simplistic as possible. The above mentioned dynamism - that overarch the entire project - we represented here in the form of micro-interactions and transitions.
Our aim to create a mobile-first landing page paid off when we implemented the components and modular design concept on the tablet and desktop versions. The applied design principles helped us to build the other variants seamlessly responsive and keep an equally high conversion rate at all content.
